getting rid of the red bugs is easy, saving all your hermits and crabs is the hard part.
also there's no shame in having red bugs, besides once you treat for them you can join the red bug free certified trading group ;)

that's good prevention, better yet set up a 10 or 15 gallon QT tank. a couple of weeks to make sure the frags are varmint free is worth it, just ask shaun who's had to treat for every nasty critter out there, what a nightmare.

Wow, another one of us bites the dust. Sorry to hear it, but now you can get rid of them and your SPS will love you for it!!!

Once you got the interceptor pills make sure you follow the directions layed out by Dustin as close as possible. You can probably get away with only two treatments.

Well, he's going to get his interceptor. quick question though, I keep having them ordered as 12 packs, with only 2 pills needed for treatment, should I be prescibing the 6 packs instead?

100 Posts for senior member, that all? I've got to go post more. :D

with red bugs going around it's better to have 12 pills to share.
then not everyone needs to order a prescription.

Doc, the more the merrier - technically, you only need a 1/4 of one pill for one treatment on a 90g tank. Belielve me, though, I bought a 12 pack about 6 months ago and only have 1.5 left - just enough to treat my tank if I needed to. So, the more we have around to distribute, ther better off we'll be in eradicating this from the board.

Also, we need to keep some around to use to dip corals before they go into the tank as not to re-introduce them.

Ugh, bad bugs bad bugs - sing it JH
