Mods for EuroReef RS-100

[Reef Mongoose]

I want to know if there are any mods worth doing to my RS-100. It is currently runnning on a 90gal with a 30 gallon sump. It has been running great but I am always looking to get the most out of my equipment. So I was wondering if there are any mods I can do to it that will increase its performance. I was thinking maybe, gate valve, mesh wheel, recirc? I would like some opinions on whether or not modding the skimmer is worth while and if so how I go about adding the mods.

first i must say that skimm will work over time keeping up with a ank that siz, now as for mod' the mesh wheel and gate valve are the best. if i was to do onethough it would be the gate valve cause it lets you dial the skimmer in better, the mesh mod jus tchops the bubbles up fin allowing for more surface area of the bubble's to pull out

any idea where I can get mesh for the mesh wheel? Skimmer hasn't been working too hard so far, I don't have a real heavy bioload, 1 hippo, 1 scopas, 1 powder blue , 3 clowns, a carpenters wrasse and a labouti wrasse, nothing over 4 in besides the hippo, he is about 6in

custom king i think sell's it, or ebay, look for enkmat, tang's are heavy poopers which ='s larger bio load whether the fish amount you have is alot or not. is it a fowler tank ?

negative, its a mixed reef, so far water quality has been fine, SPS are growing fine, no algae growth on my sand or anything

I would go with the gate valve mod and the recirc. mod. I tried the mesh mod and didn't like it, too noisy.

if the mesh isnt trimmed correct it will rub and wear pump out sooner, and yes the mesh mod is a little louder than no mod, i myself did a mod with fishing string, works the same andno rubbing to worry about
