do you target-feed them at all (the zoos and/or anything that isn't a filter feeder)? a little 'cyclopeze' with a turkey baster when they are 'out' will go a long way. be sure not to overfeed though!
ide have to try that ,(target feeding ) how much do i feed them ?but i do use cyclopeze

target feeding with zoos make all the difference. they grow like weeds. every 2 or 3 days take some cyclopeze and mix it with saltwater and slowly squirt it on them (w a baster) - they will close and eat. don't know the best time of the day to do this, maybe others would know? as soon as they close stop. don't want to pollute the water.

ah it depends. imho unless you have fish that are going to bite you (like my d(*#%&* tomato clown) or are going to be grabbing rocks you don't need to do anything but make sure your hands don't have anything on them...OR if you have lots of bristle worms, prob not a good idea to go into the tank bare handed.

So true...but I've gotten CRAZY growth from this one colony of zoos...if your gonna target feed try using something with a really small opening so you can get food to them rather than having it float all over the tank...maybe a small syringe?? Like the ones with the salifert test kits...cyclo is small so it should be ok..
