I need to start restocking my tank (the 55 gal FO) with fish since my daughter killed them all when we went on vacation. Well, technically it wasn't her fault, as she has told me. I had a cleaner clam that died and I had a major spike in ammonia & nitrates and the fish couldn't handle it. Hadn't told her to test the water. Came home to 4 fish left, did a water change but still lost three more before the next day. The only survivor is my lemon wrasse. : (

The question is: What fish would you guys rate as the coolest fish to have in a FO tank? Keep in mind it is a 55 gal tank and unless I can talk my husband into letting me upgrade the 90 gal reef to a 180 (my dream tank) and using the 90 as FO they need to be able to stay in a 55 gal. So nothing that gets too big.

House,
I already have a 90 gal reef. The dream is to increase that to a 180 and use the 90 as fish only. ; ) Good luck with selling it though, it is a nice looking tank.

Six lines are great. I had one in the 90 gal reef until I introduced a mandarin. The mandarin won, the six line jumped ship. Found him on the floor. Great idea to get one for the FO. Thanks

Deanos,
Not unless I want to create a Tank of Terror like my son has. He has a lionfish and anything smaller than 2" is dinner.
