I was wondering if you can fill up a phos reactor with resin from a r/o unit and run it on your reef tank. Would it clean the water and is it safe for the fish and corals. I think they put resin in the chemi-pure elite and that seems to work.

don't you mean di resin? and i would think that would also take out all the salt and calcium, and then be exhausted really fast.
