drip kalk???

I was thinking of setting up a Kalk Drip?
I see alot of info on this around I read that I should use the drip to fill evaprated water The question I have is should this be somthing I do everytime I Add water?? or just a few times a week?

Also I know that you should mix it than let sit over and at the end of the drip it will form a sulge on the bottom of the bottle what I read said to clean it out every few weeks, is this true or should I clean it out every time I all new water?
