schedule 40 is fine. just make sure you get pipe and fittings rated for pressure and not drainage.
pressure fittings have twice the glueing area than drainage.
Home depot and lowes have pretty much everything you need
less the bulk head fittings.
dont skimp on those get them schedule 80

Agreed - only thing I would change is get schedule 80 true union ball valves - they are more expensive up front, but buying a union and ball valve is a little more costly and adds additional possible points of failure in your plumbing. Schedule 80 valves are also easier to turn (I've noticed)

40 is just fine for the pressure ratings you will be dealing with.Besides 80 has a smaller inside diameter and will have a slower flow rate .40 is less restrictive.

this is not true it all depends on what kind of seal the valve has in it.Sch. 40 valaves are just as strong and less restrictive.

true! I totally forgot the ball valves thanks Jim!
just be careful most people pick up gray valves assuming they are schedule 80 when in fact they are 40.
it's marked on the valve and fittings
