No power...argh

Well I wake up to find out that half of my apartment has power and half doesnt. Thank god the half with the tank does have power. I found out its the whole block and only the back halves of the apartment...wierd....too bad the outlet with my lights doesn't work. They should be ok without the lights for how long? The powerheads are running tho.

The corals will be fine, especially if you still have water movement. They'll just think a storm is overhead.

Cool. That eased my mind. I moved me VHO ballast and atleast I got the actinic on the tank. Eased my mind a little more. Thanks again Dean.

One phase of your feed cable from the transformer is out of commission, the same happen to me last weekend. Better call ConEd every hour or they will forget about you for hours.

Thanks Pierce. My dad called and a lot of the people from the block called too so hopefully they dont leave us hanging powerless for too long.

Your corals could easily go a day without lights. I just call those "storm Days" when I forget to plug my lights back in. . .

Well it figures that all my power went out. So the tank was motionless except for my 5 min stirs every 30 mins. Everything looks to be ok. Thank god power came back or I wouldn't have been sleeping tonight.

Damn, I feel bad for you Brooklynites! Luckily Queens hasnt had a power outage since that major blackout back 2 years ago.

(Watch Queens have a blackout later this week, lol)
