I went to both Home Depot and Lowes, and this was the closest stuff I could find to Southdown. I did a little research and it seems it is just the new version of Southdown.. same stuff, same company, different name. Does anyone know if this is true adn if this is good to use in my aquarium? Better yet, has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks!

Heh, you caught me.. I also did try to post on RC but I really didn't get any answer that helped. From what I understand in that other thread, Durascape is fine to use and its not silica (even though that would be fine to use too), right?

Well in case anyone wants to know, I went out and bought three bags of the Durascape sand and it completely fizzed up with vinegar and looks great in the tank (no water yet).

Home Depot.. however, I live upstate (kingston, if you're familiar with it), so you might not be able to find it at your Home Depot. But if you do, its the same exact stuff as "Southdown" or "Yardright." Its in a mostly clear bag (looks white cause of the sand) with blue logo's and writing.
