Pretty much all wrasses can jump, but IME Halichoeres sp wrasses (melanuras, xmas, radiant etc.) are far less prone to do so than Fairy (Cirrhilabrus sp.) or Flasher (parachelinus sp.) wrasses where the appropriate sentient is --when , not if they will jump. In general wrasses that bury in the sand are better choices as their fright response is to dive down not up, BUT this is just a tendency not a guarantee.

Can anyone recommend a Wrasse that doesn't like to jump? I have a rimless tank and would like to add some. Thanks.
I have a Christmas Wrasse. Not only is he beautiful, but he hasn't jumped.(knock on wood). He is a part -time fish. I see him 4 times a week, as he buries himself the other three days of the week. Not a union fish:lol:

Get one of these, guaranteed to never jump, breathe, or anything else a fish normally does

as many have stated before any wrasse can jump as well as most other fish, after about 30 different wrasse's ive had 1 jump and do belive that was cause other wrasse was harrassing it, but have had a firefish and a twinspot hog fish jump.
