Actually, they're not needlefish, which are a totally different family, they are pipefish related to seahorses, The guys who were fishing called them needlefish, I guess because they looked like needles. So, forget that name. Here's a short decription:http://www.baylink.org/lessons/10.html

An aside: I had to take those 55 watters off the tank, the bulbs were an algae factory! I'll put 'em back when I get the 50/50's.
For the rest of you, Peter was at my house this weekend doing a craig's list trade, and turned me on to this group. A good recommendation for sure!

I totally dig that tank - pipe fish, they eat pods etc, so I hope your tank has em.

Way to go on the local specimen tank.

ON the images, I usually go 500x400 or as close to 100k as possible. Makes it a world better to upload too if you have a few you're working with.
