need lighting ideas

hey guy listen i dont like my coler in my tank rigt now im running 2 14k 175 watt metal halides there sunburst brand ,then i got 2 48 inch 110watt uri 50/50 vhos i also got 2 110watt atinic blues 48 inches the tank is to pinkish i bought 2 more atinics and now its to blue and my coral isint going as good i was thinking of swaping the 14ks for 10 ks and then putting 4 atinics what do u guys think and if i do swap out the metal halides what brand 10 k do u recommend i was heading towards xm (oh and im not upgradeing to 250watts so thats not and opion right now)

Back when I used 175W Hamilton and Ushio 10K were my favor bulbs, a bit green\yellow but a few URI super actinic 03 will fix that up nicely.

I would run the 175w Ushio 10ks + 3 or 4 actinics (depending on how much blue you like)

My first tank was 10kk plus blue(actinic, but not really)

I still think of that as 'perfect light' for a tank.

Right now I have a 14k, without actinics. I had a 20k but it was way too blue.

So I think if you step down to a 10k and keep the VHO actinics, you'll be better off.

Ushios are really nice bulbs, but they are expensive compared to XM.

Hard to say since I never used the 175w XM. All I can tell you is that the 175w Ushio is a good bulb.

youohad a rock with zoos and some type of plate on it i thought they were red

no one like refluxs blub ,,true 10k white no yellow tint to them
