have 2 rose anenomes that were beautiful for about 2 months when they went into the tank. A few weeks ago, they both completely shriveled up and have bulbs that are barely noticeable. I have tried feeding them, but that does not help.

I also have a purple aneomome (an atlantic one I think) and it is huge and healthy looking. My water parameters are pretty good, although my nitrates 40-60 and my phospates are a little high despite using a Phosban reactor. Also, I have crazy lighting... 4 400watt metal halides and some T-5 bulbs.

Why are the rose anenomes shriveled? Anthing I can do?

Those nitrates are really high! What are the rest of your readings?

What size tank are you running? You're phosban reactor may be to little for the tank.

What are "low" phosphates? ANd what test kit are you using?

DId the anemones bleach as well, or jus shrink up?

-RUNNING A 180 GALLON. THE PHOSBAN REACTOR IS SMALL, BUT THE ONLY ONE I CAN FIND.
