need some help

i know i asked this question before ....but i was wonderin would i be able to add regular sand to an established tank or will that just make a spike in the levels in my tank ... or do i have to add live sand

Is this for your display tank. If so how deep is your sand deep currently

Zany... why would you say no?

If you want to add sand I'd funnel it threw a 2" or larger PVC pipe, slowly add it over time to keep the dust storm down and in the pipe. Live or rinsed sand should eliminate most of the dust cloud.
