Picked up the Bubble Magus BM160

If you saw my other threads I had been trying to figure out my next skimmer. Well here it is, I picked the Bubble Magus BM160 for what it can do for the price, plus the fact that the seller is local to me which saved me shipping.

One thing to keep in mind if you saw my other threads is that my tank is currently running fallow with no fish as I'm treating ich with all the fish in the hospital tank. So I'm not sure how much foam will be produced. Pictures to follow.

Nice skimmer. I haven't heard anything negative about a Bubble Magus yet.

who did you get it from and how much ?

Went on nuocean.com, emailed the guy his name is Chris. Paid $260. Very quiet. Running it external fed by a Mag3. Love the drain line because my old Urchin Pro didn't have one and it made cleaning suck. Cup comes off. Overall pretty satisfied. Just that no fish in the tank for a month I think my tank water will be pretty clean by then.

How's the quality of the acrylic? It's not bad for the price, especially for a recic model and an aquabee pump. Definitely a skimmer to look into next time around. Do you an air meter to measure the air coming in?
