The Whale Shark exhibit is without doubt spectacular, but to be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed by the rest of the place. The Reef exhibit is large , but not very good ( I know it needs time to mature, but it should be further along), and beyond that there really wasn't all that much to see. Remove that Whale Shark exhibit and you are left with a pretty mediocre public aquarium.

Gallon for gallon, I'd take Atlantis in a heartbeat. We are very lucky to be so close to such a fine public aquarium.

I agree with Prattreef , if not for the whale sharks it's pretty much plain.
Not to take away from the exhibit which is pretty amazing, but I saw everything and still expected more.
