Anyone use Kent Marine Phosphate Sponge in their Two Little Fishies Phosban Reactor?
Bottle says not to use for more than 2 days max?

Guess after this bottle, I will go back to phosband... Just need some and that was all I could find...

It also says you can bake it, but I am not getting involved in that...

Going to finish up the Kent stuff first. Just change out daily till it's all used up

Then if House has "ROWAphos Phosphate Remover " that's what I will try. Thanks for the suggestion.

states EXACTLY on the label...

Leave for 8 hrs to 2 days maximum (as with any phosphate adsorber, phosphates can be re-released into the system if initial charge is left in the system continuously. If you want to leave in the system to keep phosphates low or to remove silicates, replace initial charge with brand new and change on a regular basis)

If this is true, phosphates need to be at zero before we leave "any phosphate adsorber" in the system for an extended time.

Or do you think they are just saying that because their product is inferior?

I don't think Jim has it but I get mine from ebay or marinedepot.com.Jim does have the phosban which is ok.
