lighting questions for 150g wide

Ok guys, I am in the process of setting up a 150g (48X30X25) yup.. 30 wide, I have a 2X 250MH SE 10K suplimented with 4 PC fixture.

Do you think I need to buy another MH? If so what kind should I get? In the I would like to get rid of those PC and use VHO or T5 to suppliment my MH.

You should not need more than 2 MH on a 4' long tank.

How about width? It is 30'' and the fixture I have is about 12'' wide.

The question would be how you can affect light coverage from from front to back ie: 30".
Generally DE pendants & SE mogul spyder reflectors give you a 2' x 2' coverage. You might want to look into Luminarcs which utilize mogul bulbs but they are honking big. Unless you were setting up an in-wall system, the canopy would be obtrusive.

Check out cali_reef's tank. He also has a 150g wide with two Luminarcs and two URI VHOs (in-wall setup)

They did come out with smaller luminarcs but I don't know if they give you the 30"+ coverage.
