where to buy t5 bulbs in Nassau or close by?

hey, where can i buy some geismann(sp?) t5 48" actinics+ bulbs? i rather not order online if i can avoid it. it should be close to nassau county.. i would like to get one today. My setup looks a bit too yellow so im goona swap out a daylight bulb that was on for like 10 hours..

anyone know..

so far i called petswarehouse, mutts and butts, and aquarium adventures. they dont have them or similar. they have the pure actinics but i want the mix.

have him ship or ask if anyone maybe going that way this weekend he also has other dry goods at good prices and hes got some nice corals so if u have a reef tank u will most likely come home with a nice frag

i will see ask him about the getting it delivered.. does he charge for that?.. i have a fowlr that has some mushrooms in there.. i will probly put some frags of something in there to see if they do ok.. kinda doubtful bc my nitrates are always a bit high for corals.. the mushroom are doing well so i have some hope.. im gonna give it some time before the corals only bc this lighting is new (10 hours) and i wanna give my system (live rocks) some time to adjust to it.. in case i get some algae blooms or some crap.. u never know..

I've done this search and haven't found anywhere locally to get them. I also go to Leo's to pick them up.


The first place that starts stocking these (at a good price) is going to make a killing selling them on LI
You could try calling Aqua Hut in Coram as they have a decent bulb selection but I'm not sure about the t5's (and they rarely pick up their phone...)

I've only been there once..and he picked it when when I was there...maybe because we were standing next to it when it rang and I'd think he was odd to ignore it...lol
