ideas for puffer fishing

hey, i was wondering if anyone had any good methods of catching a puffer fish or where to go. want to do it soon before it gets too cold. I live in the baldwin-freeport area and have a fishing boat. was wondering, maybe go near reynolds channel? was wondering if there is any bait and hook i should use, or should i use a net? any ideas would be helpfull. And this would be for my fish tank, not pleasure or eating. just putting that out there.
Oh, and if this is illegal, please feel free to let me know.

i think someone was giving away localy collected puffers check with Domboski (I think its spelled like that)

let me know if you find one also or catch one. I been looking for xxxl puffer for some time. nobody could get one that big.
