I'm surprised as well, day 2 and it's building a pretty nice tower of foam. I left the pin wheel in the unit after reading the octo extreme skimmer thread on RC. Someone had a good point, use the pinwheel see how it performs for a month, a month later swap out for the Mesh Wheel and see if there's a difference in performance. I would love to avoid any of the hangup associated with the MW if it doesn't effect performance greatly.
