alright i had a 5 gal fuge ready to go it was going to be on the outside if the tank but my wife doesnt like it in the open.i have this old overflow which holds about a quart of water i am thinking of using as a fuge so no one can see it.i would add a little section of pipe which i would drill small holes at the top and cap it off so i get more water in the fuge and just add a couple small rocks and load it up with chaeto.please only respond if u know if it will work.

If you were adding a qt. of water to a pico tank I'd say it was worth the effort. If you're adding a qt. of water to a tank that's bigger than say 5g, I'd just as soon leave it off. Just another place for a problem (leak) to occur, without much (if any) benefit.

Get a large hang on the back filter, take out all of the stuff and use it as a fuge. I think there was thread about this on RC.
