Kris, please make sure you put up a list for this old man to follow. I want to make sure all our generous clean up crew gets taken care of with their well deserved frag from Saltwater Critters.

Thanks Sybil, Craig and Awilda (I hope I didn't miss anyone). Well, actually I hope I missed a lot of peeps. Three people shouldn't be asked to do this by themselves Kris, how about posting a current clean up crew list for everyone to see? It could be an eye opener for everyone to see just how many volunteers stepped up.

Come on MR, lets band together to make this easy on everyone who is cleaning up. :grouphug: Saltwater Critters still has plenty of frags left for those still undecided about joining the clean up committee.

As for my tank, I don't believe there is any more room for anything to be added. Pretty over stocked. Which leaves even more for the rest.

Question that bothered me the last swap. We left as the crowd dwindled down to bare minimum and I couldn't help but notice most that attended obviously didn't know what a garbage can was. Food plates, food, wrappers, papers, were EVERYWHERE. Is that typical? Personally I was disgusted by that behavior, especially since everyone there volunteered their time from this site so we all could have a day to enjoy with other reefers. I just never realized how many reefers are slobs. :irked:

We can not change the behavior of every attendee, but we can ask all the volunteers to clean up the garbage immediately whenever and whereever they see it.

James, that would be ideal. Actually, what would be ideal would be if all the attendees policed themselves. The last thing we want is for the VOLUNTEERS to be seen as waitresses and waiters and have to work all day. Now that wouldn't be fair. There will be plenty of garbage cans and recycling receptacles all over the place.

Saltwater Critters would like to thank all the volunteers. You guys stepping up to help makes it possible for all the attendees and vendors to enjoy the show. Great job.

Good point - i think Pace may have contributed to thsi a tiny bit - I'll request that additional cans be lined and put around the space - I believe they were less than obvious last time.
