RS-232 cable for AquaController Jr.

I just got one and want to program it - how do people do this? On their computer and then upload via the serial cable? Where do I get this cable and does someone have one I could borrow to try out? Thx.

Sounds like your looking for a nine pin serial connector, the cable is really cheap at radio shack

I was looking online at Radio Shack for a DB9 to RJ11 cable and couldn't find it. I work downtown - I may just go to Cables and Chips.

That sounds fairly specialty and DB9 is nearly outdated. You could make your own or try to find one around premade. Make sure your pinout is correct (which wire goes to wich wire).

just buy the right one online, for the $15 it cost wil save in traveling and looking, radio shack by me doesnt have it, but i live in peekskill also, spent more looking around in gas then it cost to just buy it

I can loan you my cable if you want, or if you want I can meet you half way and we can sit down somewhere and program it for you directly on the unit. The instructions they come with are awful
