are LED EVEN PROVEN TO BE A good source of light for sps.

I did research and used them over 2 years and I think they are great.

As a matter of fact, I think too many ppl don't want it proven to be a good source of light for sps due to their love of MH. Many of those also say the same to T5 while users of proper T5 say they have equal success over MH.

You also build them Wingo =0P

LED's are cutting edge tech that hasn;t been really tested as far as "SPS safe and friendly". SPS does fine under them under the right wattage of LED, but are they as good as MH or T5's? noone really knows for sure. Light color preference and growth, ect are more preference based on your type of system that you like. Some people love T5's, some like MH's alot, some people like or dislike VHO's over T5's for supplimentation, ect. Only downside to LED's is that most systems cost an arm and a leg to purchase for any tank over 4 feet. You won;t make that back in electric bill/bulb cost savings anytime soon unless your in the hobby 10+ years.

Ive seen pictures of Wingo's SPS under LED's and they look great, but have also seen LED systems that look very dull on the coral and don;t get good growth. But i can also say that on any lighting system.

I must agree. There are many tanks already proving they work if you search RC, but people want more proof. People say the same about T5's. There's always going to be an efficient way of using T5's and an inefficient way. The same can be said with MH, and I'm sure with LED's as well.

You only need a prove a theory ONCE before it becomes a fact.
