i use t5 never had a problem with burning, and the color is great. i would recommend something higher than pc if you plan on selling the zoas, that way they are more colorful. i noticed a huge difference in the color when i changed from pc to t5. btw i bought fastuno's 24" tek light

I have T5 too, but I am not seeing the the glows as if it was light by VHO URI Actinic. But the T5 is very bright and blue alone. Unlike the VHO which only bring out the fluorescent out of the coral, which you need to supplement it with something more.

What type of bulb you have on the T5, Jennie?

I have heard great things about T5's- except for the price, which is still pretty steep. With a smaller Tank T5's might be the way to go, as they don't seem to produce any more heat than PC's, and are much cheaper to run than MH.
