Today was a really... sad day. Everything was going well in my Biocube 14. 2 Clownfish that got along REALLY well. So surprised because I introduced them at seperate times. Anyway... suffered the first casualty. They usually sleep near the overflow intake and I guess the little guy got sucked in. I found him in my second chamber with the filter floss just laying there on top :(

I now have one clownfish left. Any suggestions on what fish to stock my tank up with.

Sorry for your loss, having an aquapod and clowns that reside very near to the overflow I would say that he was sucked in there after he had passed. I would remove that filter floss/sponge material you have there it will turn into a nitrate trap very soon and also post your water parameters if you can. That may bring to light some additional info about your tank. Also how old was the clown? Was it qt'd before adding it to your tank? Did it have any scars on it when you found him deceased? What else is in the tank? Any popping noises in there that could be a mantis shrimp?

Not sure how old he was. I bought him from Petco. He was in the tank for about 3 weeks. Nothing else really killed him, the only thing close to it would be the coral banded shrimp, but like I said no scars.

My water parameters, I will run a test again but... I doubt he died because of the water because he was swimming fine that morning and I would think my corals would go first if anything.

No Mantis shrimp. Only Rock I started with was Dead Rock from Dombowski and some LR from JLAudio (Small pieces).

I saw him one time like sleeping and his rear fin was in the overflow, but then I woke him up and he came out. So I think he got sucked in diagonally.
