Have you had the Banded Coral Shrimp in there long? They can be kind of rough on other shrimp.
How big are the Peppermints?
The Peppermints won't bother your corals...as long as you are sure they are Peppermints and not Camelback shrimp..which do munch on corals :(
You can easily find images of both types on Google if you aren't aware how to tell them apart.

also...it isn't uncommon to not see your peppermints much once you put them in the tank (some come out more often than others). Best to check up on them well after lights out using a flashlight with a clear red film over it.

Best of luck to you on getting rid of your aiptasia :)

Had to get rid of mine cos it acquired a taste of my softies. Keep them well fed or they might nip on your softies that look similar in shape to aiptasia. They don't seek out your corals only nip on it when they come upon to it.

I've had tons over peppermints over the years and never had one bother coral. Most of all them had an appetite for aiptasia. I say go with give the shrimp a try, but that 4 line might be a problem. Introduce the shrimp after the wrasse has slipped away for the night, so the shrimp can find a hiding place.

My hoeveni's bother mine when it first went into the tank, since then they've left it alone and its done its job on the tank. My 6 lines however were relentless and killed all shrimps :(.

Sure, get a couple and give it a try. IMO worth the chance. Remember to acclimate them before adding them. (Inverts are more sensitive to water/paramater changes than fish)...and do use Kris's suggestion of adding them after lights out so they can find a spot to hide when necessary!

I got my peppermint from fink and all it does is hide and eat. Hasnt come close to any of my softies. Hasnt touched my aptisia either, little basterd. Fink is this the shrimp your talking about that I have now. If so he has been well behaved.

mine tried to eat my anemone, he just wouldnt leave it alone. he got zapped by it and died a week or so later.
LOL shrimpdown123

Usually Peppermints work out in a tank pretty well as long as you don't have a wrasse or CORAL BANDED Shrimp killing them. When your coral banded is big and hungry, it may pesent a problem to your smaller animal.

My peppermint shrimp destroyed a colony of mushrooms, and a colony of Xenia. These guys would come out, beat up the corals and go back to hiding...I finally got them out and they are now in shrimp heaven.
