best bulbs to use in a t-5 4 bulb 36" in fixture

im new to this t-5 fixtures.if i want to start adding sps what bulbs should i use in this fixture

alot of diff opinions, i always used gies o i like then, 2 of the 11k and 2 of the antic plus

well right now i have a 36" 21w t-5.like i said im pretty new to t-5 so i want to change these old bulbs out and i want the best bulb for it so i can add sps

Hello.

Just like Vir stated. You may have not have HO you may be just running NO lamps because of the wattage that you stated. Check your lamps!

well i cant see what fixture i have right now because it is up in my canopy.with t-5 does it matter what type of fixture you have to go ho or does it have to be a certain fixture.im guessing HO would be ideal for sps.like i stated the bulbs i have in right now are 21w.i bought this fixture off a member here i didnt get all the info which i should have.but what im reading is

make sure of wattage output, ho really means over driven with a icecap ballast, find out what fixture you have before purchasing anything

no not icecap ballast this is the fixture i have.so if i can get blue+, aquasun, blue actincs and blue plus with this fixture i will do that

duke, I believe that the Normal Output (21w bulbs) in a 36" fixture is not sufficient for most sps. Can it be done? Yes. I don't think you'll get the best color or best growth from this lighting. It is considered weak in the T5 world.
