membrane for ro system

hi guys i have a ? , i have a coral life pure flow 2 50gpd rodi . and i want to change my membrane because its pretty old , do i have to use the coral life brand or i can use any membrane? i spoke to a sales rep on aquacave.com and he said that all membranes are standard for every rodi, is that true. they have one for 44$ but the coral life is 83$ , he said im payin double just for cuz of the name, is that true. ohh i wanted to say sup vir!
