I am in the process of moving and want to store some of my coral / LR in some big Plastic bins for about a month. I am going to put my skimming in and put a light on top. I will probably have a couple of fans to take care of the heat issue.

Can any one see any problems with doing this?

Are there chemicals from the plastic that could cause issues?

Thanks!

the ones on the bottom bins may have some die off from not enough light.
Are the bins food safe? If so then there shouldn't be a chemicals problem unless you used it for other purposes already.
Is it a rectagular bin or circular? the bin might not be strong enough to support all the water your going to be putting in.

Hi ILikeFish ;-)
Have a look here and enjoy the hip hop... ;-) in this propagation facility, you will see several plastic containers that perform the job. You should get like these and as long as you keep them as you keep your tank, you should have no problem.

Cheers
Pedro Nuno ;-)
