removing aquarium paint

so i have this tank which i bought with black paint on the outside backside. it occurred to me that this is really ugly and i want to remove it. what paint remover can i use that wont jeopardize my coral and fish?

Try just using a razor blade to scrape it off, that's what we do at the store and it works great.

Second that on the razor blade. Using any solvents on the paint may also lead to damage of the tank seals.

i vote yes to razor blade and no to solvents. just go at an angle with the blade and if need be use iso alcohol. may take a while and a bunch of blades

THey have scrapers at HD for like 3 bucks (paint section) that use 4" blade, you will zip through the tank in no time.
