anemones and percs

can a bta hurt a true perc.ive been watching my clown try to host the bta and just now it went to go in jumped back and started rubbing its head on the sand

i have heard of weak clowns losing their "immunity" to anemone stings and being eaten. It's possible he got stung. If he's rubbing at all on anything it can't be good.

I doubt it J. Let them be, my clowns were very "jumpy" at first, I think some clowns just take more time to warm up to the anemone than others.

yeah it couldnt of hurt it to bad it went right back trying to get in.its funny.look at my tank thread there is a pic of it trying to figure it out

im convinced my clown cant take stings of bta.i just feed the anemone a cut up silverside and the perc went to get a bite hit the anemone swam frantically away and started rubbing its body all over the sand and rocks.
