New dry Sand ???????

Ok well im setting up my new tank next week. I have 120lbs of carib-sea sand for the tank. But its not the live sand its the dry sand. Since its carib sea do I need to clean it before using it ? Or can I add it to the tank before the water and just fill the tank ?

The directions are on the bad, I believe. It might say to rinse it. Either way, I would see if you can get your hands on a small amount of sand from an established tank to help seed the sand, since it is dead. Probably just gonna take a little longer to cycle also.

Rinse the heck out of it! Otherwise you're tank will look like milk for at least a week.
