I don't think it would look bigger than a tunze. It look like the same size to me. Hope it is priced lower than the tunze :D :D

But I don't like the part where you have to drill the tank to put it in. what happen when you want to remove it?

Actually I am assuming it have to be drilled in order to work from the pictures.

I don't see how it would work without the hole.

Especially from this picture

LOL this would be end of all close loops if you dotn ahve to drill anything, but question doesnt it effects the flow on how thick the glass eventually be? like some people have 1/2 inch thickness and and some acrylic people have up to 1 inch thickness, i think it might effect the speed on how fast it can spin, it's the same idea with our magfloat algae scrapers.

I smell a Spring 2006 group buy. :grouphug:

A few posts on RC mention $400 retail but don't really state what might be included in that price.

For $400 I'll wait a year to see if these pumps have the great durability as the Tunze Streams. Dave you can't call it amazing yet because you've never used it. For all we know they could be the next RIO pump :D

My guess is it works just like a magnetic stirrer. Theres one strong magnet outside the tank, attatched to the motor.

Inside the tank is another magnet attatched to the impeller. There's a few smaller magnets to attatch the plate I bet.

Looks like I've got something to build while on the road!
