Keep in mind that all of your pics will look blue almost to the point that you won't be able to photoshop all of that blue back out when you want to post pics.
20K bulbs are VERY blue!

Not that I've ever heard of.
If you want more blue, why not add actinic supplements in the form of VHO or HO T5's? At least that way you can control them and you'll have a wider range of color spectrums to choose from.

do they make 16k bulbs?

Allow me KathyC...jerl77, Aquamedic produces 16000K DE bulbs but they are not UV stop!!!
I use Blau DE 14000K they are quite good and are UV Stop
Here you can see the canopy with the moon light on when I started the tank some days before putting the live rock

I hope this helps...perhaps a combination between leds and HQI or actinic and HQI...

Cheers
Pedro Nuno ;-)

Which 14K lamps are you currently using? They vary wildly from manufacturer to manufacturer and from ballast to ballast. If you want more blue, I'd look at the Phoenix (closer to a 20K ) lamp but these look best over-driven on an HQI ballast. The Ushio and the Iwasaki 14K lamps are closer to 10K and thus appear much whiter and tend to look better on electronic ballasts. For SPS, I personally prefer the whiter look and love the Ushio's.

I've been using the helios 250w DE for the past month. Excellent bulb! A little more blue than the phoenix 14k and it does make corals fluoresce nicely.

Great looking tank Pedro!
