Stockton mod or Durso standpipe??

Is it better to do it from the beginning or wait and see if I need one ..?Is one design better than another ?This will be for a 90 RR tank ..so do I need to replace the whole drain pipe or just mod the top? I sleep with my 75 now and have gotten used to it but I would much rather it be silent ...any input or opinions?Should I make it or buy it?Thanks Sal

simply and cheaper and dead quiet, buy a pvc that fits ur drain, drill alot of holes in it towards the to middle and on up, put a cap on top of the pvc pipe with a hole drilled in it. insert air line hose with air valve so you can dial it

My drain is a perfecto 90 gal it is 2 90 elbows in each other with the drain facing dowm do you think that it will still be loud?

No,its just a standard drain that come with the tank
