Fall Frag Swap 2008 - Frag Donations

MR needs your frags!

We are able to run our events through the generous donations from our membership, so this is our formal request for donations for our up-coming 2008 Fall Frag Swap Auction.

So what can you frag from your tank and bring along?

Post away so members can get an idea of what to expect.

All donations are greatly appreciated, but please donate something that you think another reefer would really like to bid on. It sucks to see lonely animals left at the end of the day without a home to go to.


Remember:
Your donations are auctioned off to raise money to continue to provide successful events. Keep this in mind when also placing a bid.

Last but not least.....
Do not forget to label the the item with your MR screen-name & what the item is (name, color, size...).
Although it's fun to see that confused look on Jim's face, it's hard to describe a coral in a bag & we would like to call out the item correctly.

As part of our commitment to the MR community, House of Fish (Saltwatercritters) is donating two frags: A frag of Tyree Sunset montipora as well as a frag of yellow brick road zoanthids or maybe a nice sized duncan or dendro - maybe even a piece of Sanjay's appleberry palawensis - either way, 2 nice frags to sweeten the pot -

Large Blue Xenia (Effloutanaria)

I will donate a large piece of blue Xenia.

The mother colony was donated by Sanjay in last Swap, and I bid for $85.- and won the piece in auction. This piece will be at least 5 times of the size and attached to a rock.

When it is under high light, the color will be pink as the piece shown on the bottom center of the picture, and the color will turn into purple under low light similar to the small one on the left center of the picture.
