how can you get clown to take to a BTA

I just got two scunk clowns and they would not take to my BTA..what can i do or should i give them time..it's over a week now..

give them time they'll go on soon, mine went the same time i put them in the tank

The truth is that sometimes they simply never will host an anemone. It's not an absolute guarantee, alas!

yup ,,no way can know what they will do ,,,i had BTA ,,it took them 2 weeks to host ,,i have now a glod bar maroon clown ,he host my flirry mush ,,,so dont worry ,what happens happens ,all in natures course

I agree, my large percula took 3 weeks before it took, 2 days of sight brushing against the tentacles before it claimed it as its host. the smaller on a week later.

Clown fish can be retarded sometimes.

Patience is the only solution. Hopefully you will be surprised in the future, but you can't force them to adopt a new home.
