Mike what is the effluent rate? You need to decrease the flow throught the reactor and/or increase co2 to get a lower effluent PH.

I dont know if 2 hours is enough. I have measured mine after a few hours and then again 12 hours later and it drops a little more. Do you have a dual chamber? If so you want to measure the effluent from the first chamber if you can.

Make sure you do it slowly, don't mess with the bubble count too much, just adjust the flow of the effulent (like Rich said, :D ).

Yeah best advice is do it slowly. You dont want it to get too low. Once its set you pretty much just leave it alone until your co2 or media run out. I check mine every so often but it hasnt fluctuated at all since I set it.
