I'm shutting down my 20 gallon frag tank and want to use it as an upstream refugium (this tank is drilled, my main tank is not). Suggestions on where to get cheap sturdy shelves/stands to raise the tank above my main tank will be very much appreciated. Really not looking to spend too much as this will not improve my current setup all that much.

Thanks.

Am interested in shelves too... please offer places to go. Maybe Jonathan, you can make stuff for us inexpensively, or at least affordable. I wouldnt mind having shelves to match my Ethan Allen furniture (dark wood) :smokin:

Hi Peter,

You can try IKEA, perhaps they might have some shelving. Its been a while, thought you might be at the frag swap.

If you go to HD you can get the iron 90 degree triangle looking elbows (hardware section). Then get a nice piece of wood to place on top and pait or stain it. I have a lot of weight on these things and they hold up fine.
