Question for people with Acrylic tanks.

:helpo your snails shells scratch the acrylic? When I had my 20 long glass tank I would hear their shells scratching the glass tank:Yikes:. If a snail would climb on top of another one it would twist and turn its shell until the other fell off. Would their shells cause scratches on my new acrylic tank? Im scared to add snails.....lol:theyareon:snail:

I have a 24G acrylic with lots of snails and I don't have an issue with scracthing.
In fact they do a great job of cleaning.

also, I've heard urchins will chew it up

No urchins either. I only have the following, I dount they will mess up the acrylic:

1 True percula
1 ORA Black and White Occelaris
1 Pearly jawfish
1 Six line wrass

I feel comfortable adding snails now. Thanks alot guys!!
