Great unit, have one and one of the best investments i ever bought. Stopped using my brita and stopped buying poland springs bottled water. Just use the Ro/Di for all my water needs now.
im brand new to an ro unit so i dont really get how the unit hooks up to a sink. I have a regular sink with whatever plumbing that has and im not sure which connection to get. I think the supply valve? Its the unit on the post above
bump. Im getting it tomorrow and im still not sure what to do. The RO unit is a link in the post above. I ordered it with a supply valve. Im really not sure what to do to hook it up is there a switch you turn on to allow water flow or something
You need to "T" into the water supply line. Usually right after the "T" there is a shut off valve. You also need to "T" into the drain for waste water. I skipped the drain and just have the drain hose dumping into my tub (in the bath room). My friend has his draining out the window into his garden. He swears his garden loves it (I think he's nuts).
