if you Alk and Ca are balanced, just dose equal amounts of each part on opposite days (you'll need to test to get an idea of how much you should be dosing).

Follow the instructions on the back but you need to take into account how many corals you have in your tank and what type. So even though you may have a small tank it maybe filled with corals as oppossed to a larger tank with not as many corals. Also if you have sps they're going to use more cal & alk so you'll need to dose more. So this must all be taken into account.

What you want to do first is get you cal & alk to the right levels. Then start to dose B-ionic, either daily or every other day, putting in the amount the back of the bottle recommands and then the next day do a reading of cal & alk. If the levels are low then you need to add more b-ionic then you did before . Kept doing this until you reach a level where when you add b-ionic daily it will keep the cal & alk at the proper level.

Alot of this is trail and error and really depends on your tank size and what you have it in.

Also you can call B-ionic, they're in brooklyn, and they'll go over how to use the product. They're very helpful.

Just a thought after reading this thread, has anyone approached B-ionic about a group buy or discount price for MR memebers? seeing as a lot of people on this site use the stuff we might be able to do some kind of bulk wholesale order or something.

I've spoken with them and they're very behind on getting the stuff out to the vendors so I'm not sure they're going to be able to do a group buy directly, we may have to go to a vendor that sell it. They are upgrading their system which should help increase production. Actually you need to give them a couple of days notice even if you want to just pick up the 2-gal containers. Also I don't think they would want to sell it for less then what their vendors do.
