Anyone using or seen a Octopus Extreme 200 used in a 30gal sump?

I have a AGA 30gal sump (36x12x16).
Would the Octo Extreme 200 skimmer fit in there correctly?
I am worried that it would be VERY tight.
Dimensions of the skimmer's foot is 11.5"x13".

im pretty sure its almost a dead copy of the BM 200, so maybe BM 200 owners could give info as well. I have the OCT extreme 160 and love it and it has one of the smallest footprints out there. Not sure if you already bought it or just looking into it, or what sized tank your running on

I bought it from aquacave and it'll arrive sometime early next week. I will be running the skimmer on a 120gal with LPS and SPS. Do you have a pic of the extreme 160 in your sump? I will post pics up when i get the 200 in the sump. That's if i can actually get it into the sump, lol.

I am having octopus 150 on my 75G with a 30G sump. I think the dimensions are same.

I personally prefer it to the bubble master which I also owned. I dont see any benefit of the BM, and the OCT extreme which copys them is half the price, with the same pump, design etc

which Octopus 150 below are you using? because the extreme 200 footprint (11.5"x13") is larger than the 150's below...

how is the noise level when the pumps are running?
Do you have any start up problems with the pump?

Only had the start up problem when I mesh modded it, but just blow into the airline and it starts right up. I definitly suggest you do this mod because it makes night and day difference

Thanks! My extreme 200 will be arriving to me on this Wednesday. By then I will definitely need to know how you mesh mod it. I will post up some pics once i get it into the sump.

reef central. All it really does is get rid of the riser tube so you can slowly walk in how you want your foam.
