Need a quick substitute for RO/DI

My RO/DI unit isnt giving me the water quality i want and im waiting for the new one (Mighty Might) to get in. I made a batch last night the there are noticable levels of contaminates.

Can i use Distiled water from the grocery store as a substitute? Or do i have to go to my LFS and get RO/DI from them?

i use the green lable water from walmart and once used distilled from the pathmark with no isues.........

thanks, its just for a 2 gallon change

oh ok think you will be fine. i have no problems with it and do 5 gallon changes..... every week doing one as we speak lol

you could use premade saltwater. some pet stores sell them for about 12-15dollars for 4.4 gallon box. i bought some from the petland dis ounts before.

I buy distilled water in 2.5 gallon jugs from A&P.
