Whats a good protocol for introducing the corals into our tanks? I've asked before and only got incomplete answers. I mean should we quarantine them ( even if we dont have a light for the quarantine ) ? Dip them? In FW or treated SW? I worked very hard to setup my tank hitchhiker free - used Marco rocks, seeded with a small amount of live sand and cured LR, quarantine all new fish, etc. Ended up introducing various pests - aptaisia, bryopsis, flatworms ( not sure if they are the bad kind but still annoying ) - with frags from other people's tanks. I'd like to avoid introducing any new, harmful hitchikers that may be on my frags. Please share your advice.

may be kind of late, but it will depend on the type of coral.
For SPS I dip in an iodine based dip for flatworms and then interceptor for redbugs.
I would hope others would chime in for softies and LPS but, I would think that an iodine solution would be a nice all round dip and flat worm exit for ... well flatworms.

You could QT them for 2+ years.... 
Well I would like to know what to do for all types ( though I didnt get mushrooms or SPS this time ). In the meantime I put them in my 5 gallon quarantine but it only has a hang on filter for filtration and flow and no light so I dont know that they should stay there for long.
Sort of... I have a tendency to keep things in holding tanks for a very long time.
