Connecting 30g refugium to main tank

I have a 75g reef and a 30 gallon algae tank about a foot and a half away from each other. how should i go about connecting them to each other in order to use the 30 as a refugium?

Do you also have a sump?

yes a 20g long

The best way to make use of the refugium is to raise it above the main tank and have it overflow into the main. And to feed the refugium water split the return pump from the sump to go into the main and the refugium. or just into the refugium and overflow into the main.
