Moving my tank

I i have to move to a new apartment this comming weekend. Im staying on the island of Manhattan so it not a far move. Im looking for tips and advice on how to have a succesful tank move. Its a 12g Nano with softies, 2 fish and a shrimp.

Transfer everything into buckets.Should be fine since it's a small tank.

it would almost sound like you could tape a some what water tight lid on the lil tank and move the whole thing after taking a little water out. dont forget to keep it warm.

i'd try to save as much of your original water as you can.

way back when i moved my 7 gallon i left the sand and rock in the tank, drained it halfway and moved it that way. seemed to make it easier.

I'd take the rock out. The last thing you want is your rock to get jarred in the move fall and crack your glass.
