hard green algea.

im starting to get this green spekled algea on the front and side glass.its extremley hard to get off the glass. any body know wat it is or wat will eat it or wat getting this algea indicates,

It may be green coralline algae (which is a good sign), but I'd need a picture to be sure.

well im starting to get the purple spots on the glass aswell . coraline covering shells inakes and even some caulepera. so i hope its that.
its justa real pain to scrape off.
im trying to reclamie the dig cam from my sister , who helped her self to it and left to college. (girls)

I have some every week, and I just use a magnet to get rid of them..

the magnets are just not cutting it. its really hard. scraping with my nail kinda works, but there is alot

I have the same problem I use a scrapper. It looks like a huge disposable shaver razor...lol It does the trick nicely
